Really beautiful, surprising spot for a fancy dinner. The atmosphere is sublime as it's in a church whose first stone was laid in 1776, the same year as the American Declaration of Independence. Presentation and service are definitely top-notch. Lighting could be tweaked to hightlight the magic of the stained glass windows at night, and we found that several of the dishes lacked a hint of salt, but otherwise, the commitment to local and seasonal cuisine is not only commendable but also deliciously and lovingly done well. Will absolutely recommend for special occasions.

Had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very helpful. I am lactose and gluten intolerant, which was no problem. It finally felt like my dietary restrictions were not even there, because the food tasted great and I had enough options to choose from.

Location - this restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored church - is not the only strength of De Basiliek. The food and service are excellent as well and the sommelier gave ample advice about the wine we had. Apparently De Basiliek also received awards of excellence by the province!

Great resturant! The building itself it’s worth a visit for the environment and the spaces! About the food, I tried the best mustard soup of my life, an extremely fulfilling taste that make your experience even more satisfying! Our congratulations to the chef and for the high quality food!

We had a great lunch here. The fish, chicken, and shrimp salad were all fresh and had great flavor. The service is friendly and the inside is beautiful. Highly recommend!
